Gabicci Limited was formed in 1973 by two entrepreneurial friends, Jack Sofier and Alex Pyser.

Jack's wife Maureen suggested a name for the new company following a visit to the Italian seaside town of Gabicce Mare, and the brand was born.

Towards the late seventies, together with the traditional Gabicci customer, the young and fashion conscious became interested and Gabicci became a major fashion brand. Those of you old enough to remember that far back will no doubt recall the trademark gold G.

Over the last year Gabicci has again reinvented itself based around the 80s retro casual explosion. Heavily featured in Nick Love's "The Firm" once again the trademark Gabicci G is back
