Who are we?

First Aid Now is an independent company specialising in First Aid, Health and Safety Training and Consultancy. 
Originally started in 2003 by Terry Iddenden  to help endorse a positive view of first aid, health & safety within the construction and related industries. 

 As First Aid Now has developed its client base has grown to include a variety of sectors and sizes ranging from small companies to large construction and utility companies. We provide cost effective professional advice and support to our client's individual requirements. Delivering both accredited and bespoke training that works at every level.

First Aid Now has an extensive group of dedicated, experienced Instructors who have a wealth of Knowledge teaching their chosen subjects. Our Instructors have over 160 years of real life experience to back up their excellent training skills and professionalism.

Their backgrounds lie within the Emergency Services, Ministry of Defence and the Construction Industry. They are all active in their chosen subjects with current skills and experience  in the workplace, this enables them to deliver realistic, practical training of the highest calibre.

We offer a variety of services including Health & Safety consultation and policy development with a network of consultants on hand to offer expert tuition and advice, with a total of 75 years experience. The services and solutions we provide are individually tailored to our client’s needs and take account of their objectives for statutory compliance, duty of care and protection of their business, to develop a incident and injury free work environment.

Our training philosophy and approaches are continually evaluated and reviewed in the light of experience in and feedback from the facilitation of numerous training workshops, including our areas of specialisation.
Our facilitation style focuses on communicating information that can be utilised in “real life” situations.  Our students graduate with an exceptional knowledge of First Aid and Health & Safety practices, with confidence in their decision-making and ability to optimise their skills.
