Who are we?
Leukaemia Research is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to researching blood cancers and disorders including leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other lymphomas, and myeloma.
24,500 people per year in the UK are hearing the news that they have a blood cancer and this affects children and adults; we want to give each of them the best chance of survival.
Founded in 1960, our organisation’s research has had a tremendous impact on the lives of over 1 million people. However there is still so much more to be done to improve treatments and cure all blood cancers. We need to raise more than £100 million over the next five years and you can help.
When you are buying from our shop or making a donation you are making a big contribution to our work: all profits go to the charity and help us fund top quality research.

What do we offer?
In addition to funding over £20 million worth of research every year, we support patients, their families and friends by providing a free information service, including a range of over 40 publications (available to download).
This work is only possible thanks to the donations of thousands of supporters, including you.
Shopping isn’t the only way that you could support us. We have a wide range of activities you can choose from. You may like to consider taking part in sponsored events(walks, bikeathons, runs, triathlons take place across the UK and beyond!), attending or organising events (eg concerts and shows), joining one of our local Branches or fundraising groups, volunteering. You can also support us through your work (making a regular donation through payroll or suggesting that Leukaemia Research becomes your company’s charity of the year).
