Dispatch Policy

Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. In the event of supply difficulties we reserve the right to substitute goods of equal quality and value. Goods are dispatched Monday to Thursday by First Class Royal Mail however we do not guarantee exact delivery date. Please note that we only deliver to mainland UK.

Orders for fresh produce and flower boxes received before 10am Monday to Thursday will be dispatched the same day, unless a date is specified. Orders received after 10am on Thursday will be dispatched the following Monday, or Tuesday following a Bank Holiday.

Secretts Veg Boxes, Flower Tapestry Baskets and Hand-tied Bouquets (when available) are delivered by courier Tuesday to Friday each week. Please ensure that there will someone available to sign and take delivery of the item.

Orders for other goods will be dispatched within 48 hours of receipt of order, unless a specific date is requested. We will endeavour to arrange delivery as near to your requested date as possible but do not guarantee exact delivery dates.

Delivery problems

If we have a problem with your order we will notify you by email giving you an estimated dispatch/delivery date date. If this is not acceptable you will have the right to cancel your order and request a full refund.

Secretts will not accept responsibility for non delivery or late delivery of items if the full postal address, including postcode is not supplied or is given incorrectly. Items delivered by courier will not be left without a signature, so you must ensure that someone can take delivery.

Prices

The prices shown include VAT at 17.5% and the cost of delivery.

Cancellation and Returns

We take great pride in the quality of our products. Please notify us within 24 hours if you are not satisfied with your delivery or it has been damaged in transit. Perishable goods cannot be returned through the post but we will request return of all other items. We will then arrange full refund or replacement, including the cost of the return postage. If possible we would appreciate pictures sent via email relating to the quality of fresh produce or damaged goods.

Colours

The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.

Confidentiality

All confidential information, including credit and debit card details will be held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed on to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.

Jurisdiction

The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Consumer Rights

None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
