About Samaritans

Samaritans provides confidential non judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide.

Whatever someone in crisis is going through, Samaritans will endeavour to be there to listen and give people the time to talk through their problems. We offer a service by telephone, email, letter and face to face in most of our 201 branches throughout the UK and Ireland.
