If you’re serious about ecommerce then you will need the facilities of Trader. Designed for the growing ecommerce store it includes a full suite of function and a powerful back end Content Management system that puts it on a par with enterprise level sites.

With Shopcreator Trader you get the following features:

Store Front
Trader comes with more than 40 different SEO optimized template designs, each of which can be customized to get exactly the colours that you wish. Dynamic menus are a standard feature -- automatically updated as you change the department structure and hierarchy in the Content Management System (CMS). To help consumers navigate the site there are built in breadcrumb trails, site maps and site search. To help consumers buy from you, the sites feature a Single Add to Cart button.

Marketing and Merchandising Tools
Standard tools include the ability to email a friend details of a product or to post it on Twitter or Facebook; a built in newsletter signup process; and automatic posting of details to Google Products and other search engines. Linkages between products can be established so that prompts can be given to buy related items. Banner Advertisements, Best Sellers, Buy One Get One Free and Multi Buy promotion tools all come as standard. Discounts can also be applied at either a department or whole site level. Product reviews can persuade wavering consumers to click that buy button – on site reviews are a standard feature in Shopcreator Trader. The product also includes email marketing and the ability to offer eVouchers.
Back Office Tools
The CMS allows you to set up your store just the way that you like it: changes made in the CMS are immediately reflected on the site. You can set up unlimited Departments in an unlimited hierarchy with unlimited products and product variations (i.e. size, colour etc.); to help your customers find the product they want, you can set up unlimited navigation categories; products can also appear in multiple departments. Product detail can be uploaded into the site from Excel and images can be resized automatically using the Batch Image Resizer tool. Shopcreator Trader allows you to connect the bank of your choice for payments – through any one of our 7 different certified Payment Service Providers. Shipping weights can be set up for each product. Feeds can also be set up to export data to Google Products and the performance of the site can be tracked using Google Analytics.

The Affiliate Marketing module allows you to generate links for third parties who refer business to your site, which can then be tracked and used to calculate commission.
Multi-Currency
When selling to customers overseas they want to see the price for the goods in their own currency. The Multi Currency module can be used to show prices in a variety of currencies and give those foreign browsers the confidence to buy.
Customer Account
It can be very irritating when you’re a regular customer to have to reenter your details every time that you make a purchase. The Customer Account facility allows you to make the life of your regular customers just that little bit easier by storing their data securely in our database.
Postcode Look-up
In combination with our colleagues at PostcodeAnywhere, we can offer you the facility to make entering addresses more straightforward. All they have to do is enter the post code and the number of their property and address details can be filled in automatically. The Post Code Look Up option costs £5 / month, plus a small charge per lookup, paid direct to PostcodeAnywhere.

Operations

Shopcreator Trader is hosted in our secure facility and supported from a UK based call centre Monday-Friday 9:00 – 17:00. Support is also available out of hours through our forum and other information, hints and tips are available through our blog.
