INSTALLATION &
ASSEMBLY:
Before purchasing or installing your PlayCentre measure your garden and perhaps
lay out markers or pegs. In particular give attention to obstacles or dangers
such as clothes lines, concrete steps. paths and patios, trees, fence posts
and garden sheds (glass windows). A reasonable amount of space should always
be left for safety and access.
All sections come flat-packed in manageable components. BEFORE SIGNING for your
delivery please check that you receive ALL the components necessary to make
up your PlayCentre, that none of the packages are damaged or open Packages are
labelled 1/9, 2/9 etc for easy checking. Sign "damaged" or "missing'
if there is any discrepancy.
PlayCentres are large units, and though it is not impossible for one person to assemble on their own, we recommend two or more people. You may also find it easier to make up the tower component before setting it into the ground.
NOTE: Wood is a natural product, and as such is subject to the influence of the moisture content of the air and ground. Sometimes cracks or splits may appear, but this will not result in weakening of structural stability. Such cracks and splits are more common in round section timber, just another of the reasons we prefer machined rectangular-section timber. As part of environmental and health protection we do not use arsenic or chromium salts (as are frequently used in some products) when pressure-treating any of our timber
