The method of illustrating the winged design found on earlier (up to early '50's) USN name tags, have the detail components of the design as solid, filled in parts, and not outlined as found on later and modern day tags. Our USN name tags are appropriate for sewing to any of the US Navy flight jackets, such as M421, M421A, M422, M422A & early G-1's (type 55J14).
