 The U.S.N. summer flying glove, was the definitive glove style used by USN & USMC aviators in WWII. It first came into service in 1941 and continued to be produced well into the 1960s. The WWII version however, is distinctive from the later models; a silver decal with "U.S.N."was applied to the back. Also, it is double stitched, as opposed to single stitched on the later versions. These are the gloves that went from Pearl Harbour to Iwo Jima, allowing those courageous naval aviators to gain victory by keeping a good grip on throttle and stick! We have gone to great lengths, to offer you for the first time since WWII, a truly outstanding reproduction of this style glove. Made from the highest quality hide, our U.S.N. glove is dyed to the correct yellow-tan colour and stitched to perfection with 100% cotton thread.
