Hanhart WWII Luftwaffe Pilots Chronograph Wrist Watch

Please CLICK HERE to see larger image.

The chronograph watch is an essential component of any pilots equipage. He relies on his timepiece for accurate dead reckoning navigation, as well as a host of other important time keeping related factors.

Hanhart, in Germany, is one of the leading producers of such timepieces. During the 1930s and 40s, their chronographs were utilised extensively by the Luftwaffe. There was in fact only one other make of chronograph(Glashutte), that was issued to Luftwaffe pilots.

Hanhart actually produced two styles of chronograph during this period, the most discerning difference being that one was a single button chrono and the other a double button. Apart from this detail, aesthetically they were identical.

As an antique today the double button version is regarded as the more desirable of the two, and will command a high price, such is the rarity of the these timepieces.

However, for those of you who would dearly love to own such a prestigious timepiece, your dream can now be fulfiled. After nearly 70 years from producing the 1941 double button chrono, Hanhart has now released a superb re-make of this definitive model.

As an authorised Hanhart dealer, this special edition model is availabe only from us. So we are proud to offer our customers a product of such exclusivity. This is not just a classic face with a silcone inside either. It has a 17 jewel mechanical movement just like the original.
