What is Myco-Clear?
Myco-Clear is a specialist supplement designed to bind mycotoxins in the feed and to protect the hindgut bacteria from Mycotoxicosis. Mycotoxins are toxins that are produced by fungi and molds, which can cause feed rejection, digestive upset and liver disease.
What are the Other Benefits of Feeding Myco-Clear?
Myco-Clear contains a probiotic, which promotes gut health and stability during and after Mycotoxin poisoning, and improves the digestibility of the horse’s feed.
Myco-Clear contains Klinofeed ® , a specially purified natural clay that has been shown to adsorb Mycotoxins and to soothe the gut. Klinofeed ® is effective at reducing noxious gases such as ammonia, leading to a cleaner and healthier environment for both you and your horse. It also stimulates the microbial population in manure, reducing the pH and smell.
Myco-Clear contains Natural Vitamin E. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant required to help prevent cell damage. Natural Vitamin E is twice as active compared to the synthetic form.
Myco-Clear is formulated to include an apple flavour to encourage the fussy eater and bring familiarity to the ration.
Would Myco-Clear be Suitable for My Horse?
If you suspect your horse has Acute Mycotoxin poisoning contact your vet.
Myco-Clear is suitable for any horse that has had access to any feed or forage of suspect quality, especially if this is followed by digestive upset.
Myco-Clear is also suitable for any horse that has had a digestive upset where the cause was not known.

When and How Should I Feed Myco-Clear?
Feed Myco-Clear to your horse if they have had access to feed or forage of suspect quality, or have had a digestive upset of unknown cause.
Do Not feed Myco-Clear to make suspect feed or forage safe.
Put the daily amount (100g for horses or 50g for ponies) into the ration (or a small quantity of hard feed or chaff if your horse does not usually get any hard feed) and mix well. Dampen if necessary.
If your horse gets the ration in more than one meal, split the supplement accordingly (i.e. in 2 meals, put 2 measure in each meal for a horse, or 1 measure in each meal for a pony)
