Recover is a balanced electrolyte that has been especially formulated for horses, and designed to promote swift rehydration and recovery after strenuous exercise.
What are the Benefits of Feeding Recover?
Recover contains balanced levels of the salts necessary to promote optimum rehydration after strenuous exercise.
Recover contains Natural Vitamin E. Using Natural Vitamin E allows twice as much to be absorbed compared to the synthetic form. Vitamin E helps to protect the body from damage during and after strenuous exercise.
Recover contains glucose to provide an instant boost to the tired horse’s muscles and to stimulate the gut bacteria ready for the first feed after exercise. Glucose also helps the body absorb the electrolytes more efficiently and to stimulate the horse’s appetite.
Recover is formulated with an apple flavour to encourage the tired horse or the fussy eater and to bring familiarity to the ration.
Would Recover be Suitable for My Horse?
Recover is suitable for any horse that is working hard, or sweats a lot.
Recover can be fed alongside any of the other products in the White Horse Nutrition range, provided that plenty of clean, fresh water is available at all times.
Recover can be fed in a variety of ways – so if your horse will not drink flavoured water, you can still make sure he gets essential electrolytes needed for recovery.

When and How Should I Feed Recover?
Feed Recover to your horse all year round if:
They are in hard work.
They sweat a lot.
The weather is very hot and you suspect dehydration.
Put the daily amount (25g for horses or half of that for ponies) into the ration (or a small quantity of hard feed or chaff if your horse does not usually get any hard feed) and mix well. Dampen if necessary.
Recover can be given dissolved in a bucket of water, alongside plenty of clean fresh water.

Fed without sufficient fresh water available, Recover can INCREASE the risk of dehydration – ensure there is plenty of fresh water available.
