Smashing your money pot

The most exciting way to smash your pot is to knock the side with a hammer and watch your fortune spill out. Obviously this will be quite messy and you could put it in a plastic bag if you are worried.
If you wanted to keep the base of the money pot then try taking a chisel or the claw of the hammer, inserting it into the money slot, you prise or lever the top off. You are sometimes left with a large hole and sometimes a small hole. The money pot can then be reused to house a plant, put brushes in or even a candle - Happy Smashing!.
