The films that Tom Martin made, from the earliest days of our railway up to 1990, comprise a fascinating survey of the line's development. This selection begins with scenes at the Longmoor Military Railway which was Blackmoor Vale's home prior to it becoming resident at Sheffield Park.

There is coverage also of the Ashford Steam Centre where 01 Class 65, C Class 592 and H Class 263 lived until they, too, migrated to the Bluebell. Other highlights include the Bluebell 100 celebrations, footage of visiting engines, including the Rocket replica, Giants of Steam and nostalgic lineside shots of locomotives now no longer working.
