The Santa Specials leave from Sheffield Park Station and head for Kingscote some 9 miles away; the return journey takes around 90 minutes. Every child will be given present by Father Christmas as he passes through the train and adults receive a free mince pie. There is also children's entertainment on every train and a roundabout in the station forecourt at Sheffield Park.
