Reviewed by Tony Oliver at Large Scale Planes ? masters are designed and produced by Vincent Kermorgant and are exquisitely cast in a crisp pale grey resin that almost looks like injection moulded plastic?

...The level of detail is superb ? [with, eg] pilot's oxygen system, electrical switch/ fusing box and engine controls ? There is even a piece of clear rod to represent the sight glass for the fuel line which runs along the starboard cockpit wall!

...this set is a benchmark in after-market resin detail sets?

Brett Green of Hyperscale is also happy - Beautiful, crisp casting; accurate; terrific attention to detail (even to the unseen recesses of the cockpit); alternative floor panels; clear fuel-flow inspection section in fuel line; separate harness, effective use of multimedia with rudder pedals and trim wheel chain in photo-etched brass. Highly Recommended

...MDC's new 1/32 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 cockpit is a multi-media upgrade that will deliver a vast improvement to the front office of Hasegawa's big beautiful Gustav.

...resin parts are produced to the highest standards. The resin parts demonstrate a remarkable attention to detail This detail is most obvious on the cockpit sidewalls, but is subtly present throughout the entire set. Examples include the asymmetrical cannon breech cover with straps and raised lip moulded in place, the multi-part rudder assemblies with the choice of two faintly different pedal patterns; and the inclusion of an optional Jabo panel for the fighter-bomber version. The inclusion of a separate clear inspection section in the fuel line is an especially nice touch.

...The instrument panel is a single resin part with blank dial faces. This permits the modeller to apply individual decals from the Hasegawa kit for each instrument. A careful paint job beforehand, and lenses from either disks of clear acetate or a few coats of 'Future', will result in a most impressive panel.

...The option of two different styles of footrest panels is offered. The photoetched parts are very well done too.

...MDC's 1/32 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 cockpit will be a terrific asset to Hasegawa's kit. There are more parts in this set than some others in the market, but construction should not present a challenge to experienced modellers.

...Take your time with construction and painting, and you will be rewarded with a museum-quality replica of the Gustav's cockpit.
