February 1973 New Musical Express with Slade, Led Zeppelin etc

This is a terrific bit of 1970’s nostalgia!! On the cover is Slade, while inside there are articles on David Bowie (from his Ziggy Stardust , Aladdin Sane period) and Led Zeppeln plus Alice Cooper, The Strawbs, Roxy Music, Rolling Stones etc. etc.

It is amazing to read through what was in both the album and the singles charts at this particular time as it is like a compilation of some of the greatest 70’s music. There is some of the best of everything, Glam rock, hard rock, Tamla Mowtown, and 70’s “pop”

The pictures are great as are the adverts!! Do you remember Loon pants, dungarees or clogs? Fascinating to look through these adverts, particularly the prices.

Considering its age it is in very good condition. It’s been folded down the middle, which is usually the case, but it is not very creased. Its also slightly discoloured but probably less than you might expect.

All in all a great bit of history and a lovely piece of affordable unusual nostalgia.
