The railway's Club for children up to eight years old started in 1987 and currently has over 500 members, including some living overseas.

Members receive three copies each year of the Club's magazine Footplate (click on Stepney's photo to see the cover of the current issue). They also get a card from Stepney on their birthday, a membership card and badge, special events for members and reduced rate travel on our trains(children under three travel free).
