The goal of the Penelope Chilvers project was for Shopcreator to assume responsibility for hosting, support, and ongoing development. An upgrade of Magento to the latest version was also required as well as additional integrations to third-party systems.

After receiving a recommendation, Penelope Chilvers approached Shopcreator with the aim of improving the level of support they were getting from their current providers, increasing development agility to meet business needs as well as ensuring better value for money. They were happy with the platform, although there were quite a few issues that needed resolving from work done by multiple previous agencies. Penelope Chilvers also required integration into their new warehouse fulfilment center and order management system.
Shopcreator worked closely with the team at Penelope Chilvers to understand their requirements and the problems they were experiencing with their previous provider. We needed to upgrade their Magento platform to the latest version and iron out all the bugs to enable them to drive their business forward.
The project was delivered on budget and on time, ready for the peak period. Shopcreator has continued to evolve the site and introduce new and exciting ways for Penelope Chilvers to interact with their customers.
Through this project and regular, face-to-face meetings, Shopcreator now has a thorough understanding of how Penelope Chilvers’s business works. This enables us to focus on the areas that matter most to Penelope Chilvers. In addition, Shopcreator uses service review meetings to discuss and analyse site performance, Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and to run through the Service Improvement Plan and CRO Reviews.
Penelope Chilvers's online business has grown rapidly, and we are proud to say that we have been a part of that journey. Penelope Chilvers is now running on the latest version of Magento with all issues resolved.
Penelope Chilvers is integrated into a new warehouse and order management system, as well as ensuring that orders can be split and fulfilled between warehouse and stores. We have made many improvements to SEO, improved customer user journeys, and enhanced staff efficiency.
