Standardised on January 24th 1941 the M-41 is the all-time classic G-I combat jacket. It simply has to be coolest looking combat jacket ever, and much sought after by militaria collectors in its original form. No other jacket symbolises the G-I more than this – it is the A-2 of the infantryman. Used in every theatre of WWII, from Anzio to Normandy, North Africa to the Pacific, the M-41 was there.
Buzz have excelled themselves yet again in recreating what has to be the best ever reproduction of the M-41. Although there are now several reasonably good repros on the market of this design, when you compare them to an original you see and feel the difference. But the Buzz M-41 looks and feels like New-Old-Stock: it’s head and shoulders above anything else available.

Custom manufacturing of the correct 5-ounce cotton poplin for the outer shell, and correct wool/cotton flannel lining; all produced on vintage looms of the 1940’s and dyed to a typical 1942 shade of Olive Drab old-style dyes.

Three-position hip-adjusting tabs as per original Spec. 20B.

Precise pattern grading matching the exact measurements employed for production of the original Spec. 20B. Because of this attention to authenticity in fit and fabrics, the Buzz Rickson’s M-41 will fit, drape and look exactly as the original.
