Knebworth House is famous worldwide for its rock concerts and as the home of Victorian novelist Edward Bulwer Lytton - author of the words "The pen is mightier than the sword". Surrounding the dramatic gothic mansion is beautiful parkland, which this summer plays host to a series of special events.

The 2010 events are:-

Pre-50s American Auto Club Rally on 18th July. IT IS TOO LATE TO BUY ADVANCE TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BUY ON THE GATE

Hands on History Weekend on 14th & 15th August.

Bank Holiday Classic Motor Show on 29th & 30th August.

Jousting on 5th September.

Classic Motorcycle Show on 12th September.

TICKETS PURCHASED FROM US ARE VALID FOR ANY ONE DAY OF THE EVENT. Purchasing in advance gives you a 10% discount. All visitors over 4 years old pay the same rate. Groups (or families) of 4 may purchase a group ticket at a reduced price. On the day single tickets are £8, groups of 4 are £28.

Tickets allow access to the grounds and gardens as well as the event. Admission to the house can be purchased on the day if required. FOR THE HANDS ON HISTORY EVENT TICKETS WHICH INCLUDE THE HOUSE ARE AVAILABLE AND IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU PURCHASE THESE AS MANY ACTIVITIES ARE IN THE HOUSE.

The nearest rail station is Stevenage, just two miles away. Knebworth House & Park are not within walking distance from the station but there is a taxi rank at Stevenage station.
