Shopcreator was founded in Leeds in 1998 — before PrestaShop, Magento or WooCommerce even existed. Since then we’ve built and supported ecommerce stores through several generations of platform technology, working with everyone from Asda and Red Bull to independent B2B specialists who are still with us years later.
Along the way we kept seeing the same problem: a hosting company that only manages the server, or an agency that builds the site but won’t touch hosting, leaving businesses stuck between two suppliers pointing fingers when something breaks. So we built Shopcreator to do both, as one team.
Today we’re part of the Simply Evolve Ltd Group, still based in Leeds, and still led by Tim, Govind and Andrew — doing the same thing we always have: hosting, support and honest advice, from people who actually pick up the phone.
